Join us for our Annual Women of Achievement Event!
Help us “Celebrate Our Past and Invest in Our Future.”
On Tuesday, June 11th at 8:00am we will once again honor Women of Achievement at our annual breakfast. The event will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Suffern with the theme “Celebrating Our Past: Investing in Our Future.”
This year RBWN will present the 2019 Women of Achievement Awards to Robin Rosenberg, Founder of Garner Historic District, and Emily Dominguez, founder of Blu River Marketing and Deputy Mayor of the Village of Haverstraw, in recognition of their outstanding professional accomplishments and their contributions to the Rockland County community. We will also present the 2019 RBWN Service Woman of the Year award to RBWN Board Member Lisa Falone of PayServ for her work on behalf of RBWN.
During the event, $1,000 scholarships will be presented to two high school seniors, a student from Rockland Community College, and for the first time, a BOCES graduate, who are all continuing their education and training.
The cost for the event is $40 for members and $45 for non-members in advance and $60 for all at the door. You can register at the link below. Numerous sponsorship and journal advertising opportunities are available and you can see the options below.
The RBWN Scholarship Fund, established in 1997, has donated over $50,000 to support local students with college scholarships and training and professional development opportunities for members. The organization also provides scholarships to eligible members who have been accepted into the Leadership Rockland program.
There will be multiple opportunities to support this event and our 40th year!
