Meet Dr. Kathleen Cuneo
Dr. Kathleen Cuneo is a licensed psychologist with a private practice in Rockland County, NY. Her practice includes work with children and adults. She has previously worked in health care, educational, and government
settings. She was a provider for the Rockland County Early Intervention and Preschool Special Education programs for over ten years. She also currently serves on the Board of Directors for Child Care Resources of Rockland, Inc. and the Rockland Business Women’s Network, where she oversees the Scholarship and Membership Committees. She is a member of the American Psychological Society, the New York Psychological Association, the Rockland County Psychological Society, and the National Career Development Association.
Dr. Cuneo has given a number of community presentations over the years. Popular topics have included: Work-Life Fit for Parents Returning to Work, How to Raise Healthy Eaters without Making Yourself or Your Kids Crazy; Parenting Strategies for Managing Challenging Behaviors in Kids and Teens; and Understanding Challenging Behaviors in Toddlers and Preschoolers. She is a former board member of Child Care Resources of Rockland.
Dr. Cuneo earned her Ph.D. in Applied Developmental Psychology from Fordham University. She has also completed the Career Development Facilitator training course through the National Career Developmental Association. She has completed some course work in Human Resource Management at Iona College.
