Join RBWN’s team at the 32nd Annual Women’s Distance Festival 5k Run/Walk.

Please join us for the 32nd Annual Women’s Distance Festival 5K Run/Walk on Saturday July 13th as we come together to raise money to help the Center for Safety and Change in its mission to support, house and provide services to the victims of Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, Human Trafficking and all crimes.
Sign up for the 5K and compete as an individual or create a Mother/Daughter, Sister/Sister, or Grandmother/Granddaughter team. We also have a team event for groups of 5 or more!
Online Registration is $25 for Rockland Road Runner members, and $30 for non-members. Team registrations are available for Mother/Daughter, Sister/Sister, or Grandmother/Granddaughter at $50 provided that at least one team member is a Rockland Road Runner. If neither is a Rockland Road Runner, then the cost will be $60. Teams of 5 runners/walkers are available for a discounted cost of $25 a team member provided that the team meets a minimum requirement of 5 members. Running teams will be an awarded category like the others.
Online registration closes at 11:59pm Monday July 8th. Registration can be done in person at Pre Race Packet Pick-up on July 12th from 12-8, but once online registration closes, in person registration is $40 a person no matter what you are registering for. Rockland Business Women’s Network to Honor Rockland Business Women at Annual Event on June 11
The Rockland Business Women’s Network (RBWN) will host its annual Women of Achievement Breakfast on Tuesday, June 11th at 8:00 AM at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Suffern with the theme “Celebrating Our Past: Investing in Our Future.”
This year RBWN will present the 2019 Women of Achievement Awards to Robin Rosenberg, Founder of Garner Historic District, and Emily Dominguez, founder of Blu River Marketing and Deputy Mayor of the Village of Haverstraw, in recognition of their outstanding professional accomplishments and their contributions to the Rockland County community. The group will also present the 2019 RBWN Service Woman of the Year award to RBWN Board Member Lisa Falone of PayServ for her work on behalf of RBWN. “This is the 40th year that RBWN has been supporting women in business in Rockland County. Our theme this year, ‘Celebrating our Past: Investing in our Future,’ reflects our pride in our founders and past board members and our continued commitment to investing in our members with the establishment of the RBWN Women’s Professional Development and Scholarship Fund,” stated Nancy Seeback, President of RBWN.
During the event, $1,000 scholarships will be presented to two high school seniors, a student from Rockland Community College, and for the first time, a BOCES graduate, who are all continuing their education and training.
The cost for the event is $40 for members and $45 for nonmembers in advance and $60 for all at the door. Registration is available at www.rbwn.org. Most notably, Suzanne founded Sterling’s successful women’s leadership initiative, the Extraordinary Women of Sterling, which delivers a curriculum of personal and professional development topics, networking, and leadership opportunities to their largely female workforce.
Suzanne began her career as an advertising agency art director before moving to corporate marketing, and continues to leverage her skill in design both at work and at home. She’s renovated several homes and her work has been featured on HGTV.com and DIY network television.
Suzanne is also an avid home chef and one of the recipe testers for PBS’s America’s Test Kitchen.
