Suzanne Copeland launched Copeland Collaborative to work ith companies to build effective programs to engage their most important target audience, their employees. Suzanne builds internal marketing programs that support organizational change, build culture, and improve processes through engaging communication and storytelling.

Suzanne’s success in developing employee initiatives stems from her accomplished career as a marketing executive. She came to Rockland County in 2009 from Memphis, Tennessee, recruited by then Provident Bank, to build up and lead their marketing efforts. She was at the helm of marketing throughout their rapid growth, launching Connect magazine, building a database marketing program, rebranding to Sterling National Bank, and leading several merger communication initiatives. She also spearheaded culture change programs to educate and engage the workforce to align with and embrace the strategies of the ever-evolving organization.

Most notably, Suzanne founded Sterling’s successful women’s leadership initiative, the Extraordinary Women of Sterling, which delivers a curriculum of personal and professional development topics, networking, and leadership opportunities to their largely female workforce.

Suzanne began her career as an advertising agency art director before moving to corporate marketing, and continues to leverage her skill in design both at work and at home. She’s renovated several homes and her work has been featured on HGTV.com and DIY network television.

Suzanne is also an avid home chef and one of the recipe testers for PBS’s America’s Test Kitchen.
