ANNUAL WOMEN OF ACHIEVEMENT BREAKFAST!

On Tuesday, June 11th we honored two Women of Achievement at our annual breakfast. Our theme was “Celebrating Our Past: Investing in Our Future" and we presented the 2019 Women of Achievement Awards to Robin Rosenberg, Founder of Garner Historic District, and Emily Dominguez, founder of Blu River Marketing and Deputy Mayor of the Village of Haverstraw, in recognition of their outstanding professional accomplishments and their contributions to the Rockland County community. We also honored Lisa Falone of PayServ with the 2019 RBWN Service Woman of the Year award for her work on behalf of RBWN.

During the event, $1,000 scholarships were presented to two high school seniors, a student from Rockland Community College, and for the first time, a BOCES graduate, who are all continuing their education and training.

The RBWN Scholarship Fund, established in 1997, has donated over $50,000 to support local students with college scholarships and training and professional development opportunities for members. The organization also provides scholarships to eligible members who have been accepted into the Leadership Rockland program.
